Amazing Getaway!

Just wanted to Thank You for an AMAZING Getaway!  It was the first time we got to spend time together since I returned from Iraq/Kuwait.  It's been years since I have been to Homer and my girlfriend has never been to Homer.  This was a great experience for her.  We look forward to returning later this summer when the weather warms up.  Thank you again for the special arrangements and accomodations.  Breakfast was wonderful.   It was very peaceful and relaxing.  E&R - Anchorage  April 2011

“My husband and I went to Homer Alaska in August and the Alaska Beach House is definitely the Homer lodging, I would recommend there! We checked out places all around town and none can compare with this location,  Alaska lodging is very different. The Alaska Beach House  is built right on the cliff overlooking Kachemak Bay and the wild mountains beyond. There is a wood-fired  hot tub on the lawn where you can soak while admiring the unbelievable scenery! A pair of bald eagles hangs out in a tree overhead. We stayed in the Compass Rose Cottage. It is literally hanging off the edge of the cliff. From the private balcony, you can see forever and feel like you are in a world all your own!!!! Lie in bed and soak up that view!!! The owners provide breakfast that you can enjoy in your room whenever you want, which is very nice. Lots of excursions leave from Homer spit, which are just a few minutes away. What more can you say about a place that comes with one of the best views in Alaska and its own family of Bald Eagles, except that if you plan to be in Homer (and everybody should plan to be in Homer at least once in their lives) this is absolutely the place to stay for Homer Alaska lodging. … PA This bed and breakfast is definitely the best for Homer lodging.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Alaska Beach House B&B for 5 nights in July. This bed and breakfast is definitely the best for Homer Alaska lodging. Doug and Sue are great hosts and make you feel very welcome and at home. The Trophy room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the spacious shower. With fresh breakfast breads, fruit, and juice delivered to the room each day we could have breakfast on our schedule. We really enjoyed sitting in the lawn chairs overlooking the bay where we could watch sea life and the boats coming and going from the harbor at the spit. We drove up Skyline Drive and East End Rd for great views and pictures of the spit. Doug told us right where to get the best pictures and they are great. Sue and Doug were really helpful with things to do and the best places to eat during our stay in Homer. If you’re looking for a great place to stay we highly recommend Beach House B& B”… . TX
